from early childhood, deep emotional significance is created and linked with personal objects.

in this photographic series, jones suspends her own childhood possessions on her washing line, capturing the symbolic meaning of their passing through time and the fragility of nostalgia. jones captures the sentimental value of her own childhood belongings evoking reminiscence and personal memory.

illuminated by intense flash lighting, she explores the emotional weight these objects hold, from cherished belongings to distant memories.

through this visual narrative, Jones invites viewers to reflect on their own connections to the past and the way personal artifacts hold traces of innocence, change and the passage of time.
